John Field

John is a real estate and development expert, and visionary entrepreneur, with over 35 years of experience as a business owner across multiple disciplines. For much of his career he has focused on driving innovation in the waste management and remediation sectors. 

One of John's many notable achievements was his role in the sale and redevelopment of the National Coal Board Portfolio in South Wales, encompassing 2,500 hectares of land, including residential properties, mines, slag heaps, and contaminated sites. His leadership was crucial in realising substantial returns from these diverse assets.

John is adept at unlocking value in complex projects, particularly through technology-driven solutions for ground contamination and remediation. Under his direction, Thermeco has made significant investments in research and development, focusing on efficient waste-processing technologies and sustainable land-led developments, solidifying our position as a leader in the industry.
